Choosing homeschool curriculum is no easy task for me. You could say I am super picky. I want something that is thorough, but fun. Something that is visually appealing {loud, bright colors..keeps my children engaged}. I want something structured yet flexible.

But most of all, I want two things:

  1. Something that works well for my family and matches the learning styles of my children.
  2. A curriculum that is Christ-centered.

That’s not too much to ask, right?

Are you looking for a great Christian-based curriculum?

Let me share a few of our favorites:

  • Thank you for compiling this! Has anyone used Seton Home before? I'm considering it, but I would like to hear other parents' opinion.

  • Emily

Thank you,I’m doing some research as to some Christian-based home schooling curriculum s out there, as we’re planning on touring soon, so my hubby can spend time to write his Testimony in a book-form. So I need all the help I can get.

  • Lisa Fetty

Also, Heart of Dakota! It’s excellent! And, a more affordable option than Sonlight.

  • I will say I did not like that Life of Fred wrote in a “girlfriend” in one of the characters, if they were truly Christian, I would have assumed a Wife in that spot or no one at all. Topping it off, the girlfriend and the other character co-owned a business.

I decided against it for that reason.

    Great list!
