On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, Two Turtle Doves, and a partridge in a peach tree! As part of the 12 Days of Christmas kid-friendly activities series, I would like to introduce you to a fun, quick, and easy to make Two Turtle Doves Kid-Friendly Craft that can also be used as a handmade gift!
One of the best parts about Christmas is bringing joy to those around us. With this fun and kid-friendly craft and gift you can make a pair for yourself, or give one away and keep one for yourself. This craft is part of the 12 Days of Christmas Series that is being brought to you by seven of your favorite blogs.
In order to create your own Two Turtle Doves Kid-Friendly Craft and Gift you will need the following supplies:
- White Construction Paper
- Fiskars Scissors
- Puffy Paint
- Single Hole Punch
- Ornament Hooks
- Ornament Tag
The first step is to have your child trace their hand onto the white construction paper. Make sure that they keep their fingers together and point their thumb up to make the dove.
Then, use your Fiskars Scissors to cut out the outline. At this point you can repeat the process or trace the cut-out dove onto a second piece of paper.
Then, allow your Two Turtle Doves to dry. Once they are dry, use a single hole punch to make a place for the ornament hook to attach too. Once that is cone you can either hang them up as a pair on your Christmas tree or give one as a handmade gift to a friend, family member, or relative.
