Welcome to the first featured artist study in the Exploring Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Artists monthly series only found here on Enchanted Homeschooling Mom! This month we will be focusing on the creative talents and energies of the Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Artist Tom Best. If you are a fan of Hallmark, which I feel safe in assuming you are since you are reading this article, then you are probably like me and cannot wait for the new Christmas Keepsake Ornaments to arrive in the Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Dream Book, in your local Hallmark Store, or online. Since I grew up with Hallmark being involved in many of my special family memories and traditions, I am continuing to pass down to my children through this Exploring Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Artists Series

What will you find in this months featured artist pack for the Exploring Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Artist Series? This month the series will be focusing on the talents of Tom Best. This pack is designed to easily be used by homeschooling families, classroom teachers, afterschool program leaders, grandparents, the young and the old alike. In the Exploring Hallmark Keepsake Ornament – Featured Artist Tom Best Pack you will find the following learning elements:

Throughout this Exploring Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments Featured Artist Pack, links are included to the various Hallmark materials that you will need to complete the. Each month the Exploring Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Artist Series focuses on the featured Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Artist. If you are not a member of the Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Club then the monthly artist’s materials is time sensitive and you will not be able to complete the lessons after the next Featured Artist is introduced. As members of the Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Club you will have access through the Hallmark website to all the artists introduced to date. You can find the information on Tom Best now and for only a limited time. 

* Please note that the monthly featured Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Artist is only available for a 30 day period from Hallmark. Once that period is over in order to view previous featured artists you will need to be or become a Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Club Member at a cost of $25 per year to access the information in the club pages. 

Artist Facts

This pack is designed to be used to research and learn about the talents of the Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Artist Tom Best. Pages are included that help you summarize the facts you will learn about the artist. 

Biography Report

After your child or student learns about The Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Artist Tom Best they will be asked to complete a biography report about him. The form is included and help to will illustrate their mastery of the knowledge of the featured artist. 

Wall Card

A wall card is included for you to use alongside your learn about Tom Best. In addition, a new Tom Best Ornament is included for your ‘My Ornament Artist in Training Passport’ that you started (or can start) in the Exploring Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Artists FREE Introduction Pack

The Hallmark Keepsake Ornament Club has lots of Tom Best ornaments in it. This component consists of mini-books that are designed to be used to learn all about some of his Hallmark Keepsake Ornaments.

To help your child or students learn more about art, each Featured Artist Pack will include an art project or craft help expose and teach your child or students new ways of creating art.

    Every year I go to the Hallmark to get my father his ornament which is any of the planes that they offer and he loves it and put it on his Christmas tree with pride but this year there will be no buying of the Hallmark ornament because he has passed away. I was just in our Hallmark store looking at all the perfect ornaments and I spotted the plane and started to cry.

    I remember when I was a kid, my mom would pull out the ornaments from the box from the attic and we would slowly look at each one and she would tell me a story about it, before hanging it on the tree. Quite a few of them were hallmark ornaments. Now, I do the same thing for my 3 little girls. It’s a great tradition. 🙂

    My favorite hallmark memory is when our first born turned 7 yrs. old he was ALL ABOUT airplanes. He drew them, folded them, arranged them in flying units, even had his dad get him a model and they built one together. And that started his modeling career making airplane models to this day, 21 years later. He has made more model airplanes that I can count. Sooo, for that Christmas I bought him a hallmark two wing airplane. He still puts it out every Christmas. And last year told his fiancé all about it.
