Crock Pot Pumpkin Butter Recipe

This recipe is very easy to make and can be fun to make with your children too.  It does not take too long to cook either, but when it is done it is full of deliciousness! Once done it is just a matter of waiting for breakfast or snack time and toasting your favorite breads.

Ingredients:

To make this delightful recipe you will need the following ingredients for a single batch:

  • 1 – 15 ounce can of Pumpkin Puree
  • ½ to ¾ cup of maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1.4 teaspoon of ground Nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon of ground Cloves

Cooking Preparation:

To prepare your Crock Pot for this recipe, use either a Crock pot cooking bag or spray your Crock pot with cooking spray.  I use the cooking spray option to help make it easier to clean up afterwards. I would also recommend using at least an 8-quart Crock pot to make larger batches.

Cooking Directions

This recipe is great to add a handful of meals using toasted breads with the Pumpkin Butter as a fruity alternative to actually butter. It is really straight forward to make this Crock Pot Pumpkin Butter Recipe.  Simply combine all the ingredients in your crock pot or slow cooker and thoroughly mix the contents.  Once all the ingredients are in place, cover your crock pot and cook it on high for 3 hours.  Not all crock pots are the same, so please be cautious with your cooking time and avoid scorching by occasionally stirring your Crock Pot Pumpkin Butter.
