One thing that all elementary school children should learn about at some time and in different capacities is: Who are the Presidents of the United States of America? All children must learn who the President is and what they go as part of their government studies in the category of social studies, but sometimes this information is dry and dull for your students to learn about. So, to make it more fun, I created a fun President Report Form that focuses on the man who president as well as what they did when they were President. This new form goes along with all the other President Themed Learning fun here on Enchanted Homeschooling Mom.
To fully utilize this President Report Form you will need to determine how you will be researching the Presidents in your homeschool or classroom. This report form can be used with virtually any resource you want as the information that is asked for in the form is somewhat universal. To teach Beck and Elizabeth about the Presidents I intend to you use two products. The two products I will be using are The New Big Book of U.S. Presidents: Fascinating Facts about Each and Every President, Including An American History Timeline by Todd Davis. I will also be using a Presidential fact wall card set where I plan to have one President Wall Card on display each week as we learn about the American Presidents. Then, I plan to use the New Big Book of U.S. Presidents to research each president and fill out a President Report Form for each one. Then I will collect and store all the forms in a 3-Ring binder for use, reference and learning all about the Presidents of the United States of America.
