Welcome back to the blog hop! Today is officially our first day of the new school year. While we are excited I always find that the first week or two are very draining as we get back into our routine and the general swing of things. Do you have any tips that you have found to ease back into your schooling routine?

Just in case you missed the blog hop last week make sure to check out the 180 posts that were shared with all of us last week.

The Thoughtful Spot is a place to gather every week to share your family friendly posts, crafts, educational ideas, recipes, and more! Inspired by the philosophy of the Winnie the Pooh character in the classic A.A. Milne storybooks for children. Brought to you each week by Enchanted Homeschooling Mom, ABC Creative Learning, and World for Learning.

  • Thanks so much for hosting this week!

  • Keri M

What a fabulous giveaway! This would be a great way to start our year!

  • How fun! Lots of ideas, I want to join in next time!

  • I have been eyeing that balance for some time!! And that cake from last week looks awesome!

  • Oh… and I would use it for my 4yo in our prek homeschool. He is obsessed with the produce scales at the store, and know he would love to have this to learn at home! 🙂

  • I am not ready for school to start next week but I did have fun stopping by an d getting some great for when school is in session.

  • I love the balancing tool as a fun way to explore weights and equal-ness (that’s not a word, is it? lol!)

  • Tiffanie h

I would use the scale so my kids could figure out how to balance it with materials inside. They love to see things adding up.
